LORAIN, OH (WOIO) - On Sunday, a group continued the search for missing 26-year-old Aaron Zimmerman.
According to Pastor Angel Arroyo, about 45 individuals searched the woods from the Days Dam entrance in the
to Elyria, on and off the trail. This included property west of the river and houses surrounding the park. The
, Lorain County Metropark Rangers and eight trained search dogs from around Ohio led the search. Rangers and dogs searched property from the river and everything east from Lorain, to Sheffield, to Elyria. Just four days ago, Michelle Knight, a woman who had been missing for 10 years, attended a rally for Zimmerman in support of the family. Loved ones continue to hold on to the hope of finding Zimmerman alive.
Since he went missing on Nov. 14, there have been several searches for him and thousands of flyers handed out. He went missing one day before his birthday. Zimmerman's family says he likes to walk in the Metropark near their home.
