LORAIN, OH (WOIO) - Dozens gathered for a memorial service for 26-year-old Robert Caudill on Monday evening at the Living Word Church in Lorain.

On Dec. 1 around 11:30 p.m., Caudill was delivering food for a local pizza chain to the Lake Motel in Lorain when he was robbed of just a few dollars and fatally shot.

The accused gunman, 29-year-old Benjamin Davis, was captured in Amherst after stealing Caudill's car.

Davis faces aggravated murder and aggravated robbery charges. He is believed to have acted alone, but the case remains under investigation.

If you would like to help Caudill's family, donations can be made to Secor Funeral Home in his name.
