BRUNSWICK, OH (WOIO) - in Brunswick will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 10 due to a high volume of illness among students and staff.
The school reported a high number of absences and decided to close the school for one day. The school will be cleaned and thoroughly sanitized Wednesday, and will reopen on Thursday.
The following letter from Principal Nathan Baxendale was posted to the schools website:
Due to the fact that we have had a high volume of absences because of illness among students and staff in the past two days and in the best interest of student and staff health, St. Ambrose School will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, December 10, 2014. A complete and thorough sanitizing of the school will be done during this time. School will resume on Thursday, December 11th.
Reminder: to prevent widespread flu in the school, we recommend that your child stay home from school if experiencing flu or cold symptoms.
