Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon said he plans to enter the 2015 NFL draft.
Gordon confirmed the decision on "The Dan Patrick Show."
Gordon is also a Heisman Trophy finalist amd leads the FBS with 2,336 rushing yards and 29 total touchdowns in 13 games this year.
Gordon broke the single-game FBS rushing record with 408 rushing yards against Nebraska, however that record would be broke just a week later. He would need 293 yards in the Outback Bowl against Auburn to break Barry Sanders' single-season record of 2,628.
He was recently rated the No.9 overall prospect on ESPN NFL Draft insider Mel Kiper Jr.'s big board.
