Cincinnati running back Jeremy Hill started in place for Giovani Bernard in the first match up between the Browns and Bengals. Bernard was facing many injuries that held him out for a couple of weeks.
The Browns held Hill to 55 yards rushing and caused him to fumble. The Browns won in a lopsided victory 24-3.
After the game Hill said that the Browns "were worse than he thought."
Bernard is back and is getting healthier every week, but he said Thursday that Hill will get the start.
Many Browns remember Hill's comments and are using it for motivation. This is the final game between the Browns and Bengals in the regular season this year. The last time the Browns swept the Bengals in the regular season was 2002, they get their chance this Sunday when Johnny Manziel makes his first career NFL start at quarterback.
