Oklahoma City, OK (WOIO) - With LeBron James sitting one out because of soreness in his left knee, and Kyrie Irving surviving a second-quarter collision that resulted in a contusion on his left knee, the battered and bruised Cavaliers finally found themselves on the losing end, falling to the Thunder 103-94, the first loss for the Cavs in their last nine games.
Irving went down after colliding with Russell Westbrook with 1:31 left in the first half. Irving immediately grabbed his knee, and was down for several minutes before being helped to the locker room. But Kyrie returned to start the second half, and would finish with 20 points. Westbrook led all scorers with 26 points.
The Cavs return to work Friday night in New Orleans.
