Darren Sharper indicted on rape charges

Former New Orleans Saints safety Darren Sharper and two accomplices have been indicted on rape charges in New Orleans Saints.

Sharper was previously indicted on two counts of sexual assault and three counts of administering dangerous drugs in Arizona in March of this year.

Alleged coaccomplicesErik Nunez and St. Bernard Parish deputy Brandon Licciardi were also indicted by a grand jersey, both are facing life in prison charges. 

Sharper is facing a life sentence in prison after a grand jury indicted him on two counts of aggravated rape and one count of simple rape stemming from multiple incidents.

Sharper has been in prison since February after turning himself in.
