hung out by the dog bone sign to see if any Dawg Pound-ers were buying extras. In the meantime, he talked to Keith, who runs the Badstubers stand, and was quick to point out his Browns Johnny Manziel T-shirt.
"I'm a Cleveland Browns supporter," Keith said.
"Have you noticed people talking about it around the West Side Market?" asked DeRoos.
"Oh yeah. Everybody wants Manziel," said Keith. "He did pretty well the last time he was in there. So let's see what he can do for the
full game. If he lasts that long."
We also ran into people visiting from out of town for the game. One family from Georgia has been planning this trip for a while, and
just got lucky it will be Manziel's first start.
"It's going to be exciting. Everybody's going to be hyped up for the game. So we're just glad we picked a good time to come. Just worked
out that way," they said.
Another couple from Waco, TX just happened to be visiting family this weekend. They live about an hour from where Johnny Manziel turned into Johnny Football.
"Then we had Colt McCoy before that. Now he's with the Skins but, you know, he's our boy from Texas. So this is kind of like setting
up shop in Cleveland. Oh yeah, we're taking over," they said.
The excitement appears to be contagious. In his afternoon news conference, Coach Mike Pettine said the offense seemed energized under Manziel.
