LAKEWOOD, OH (WOIO) -

The Lakewood Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in finding a bank robber.

According to Cleveland FBI, around 7:15 p.m. Friday, the Huntington Bank at 11801 Clifton Road in Lakewood was robbed. The subject brandished a black, semi-automatic weapon, pointed the weapon at each bank employee, threw trash bags towards the tellers, and demanded they place money in the bags. The tellers complied, and then the subject fled out the rear door of the bank.

No injuries were reported. 

The suspect is described as a black male wearing a long, dark coat and a black ski mask.

Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individual responsible, to include up to $5,000 offered by Huntington Bank. Tips can remain anonymous and can be provided to the Lakewood Police Department at 216-521-6773 or the Cleveland FBI at 216-522-1400.
