Suspicious phone call prompts Jackson High School evacuation

MASSILLON, OH (WOIO) - Jackson High School has been evacuated and police are on the scene.

According to the Jackson Local Schools website, the Jackson Township Safety Center dispatch and Jackson High School received a phone call on Tuesday afternoon that caused concern for the school's safety. 

As a result, the high school evacuated students and staff early. 

The school says Tuesday night's Varsity and Junior Varsity boys basketball games will be played at the regularly scheduled time.
