Who says you can't go home again? Youngstown native Bo Pelini, recently fired by Nebraska after eight seasons with the Cornhuskers, is headed home to coach Youngstown State, according to multiple reports.
Pelini, 47, left Nebraska with a record of 67-27, and never finished a season with fewer than nine wins, but he failed to put the Cornhuskers into the national title conversation.
Pelini played free safety for the Ohio State Buckeyes from 1987-1990.
Coming home to Youngstown allows him to return to Northeast Ohio, and take over a strong football championship subdivision program. Copyright 2014 WOIO All rights reserved.
