CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - The
is investigating multiple cases of credit card fraud.
Police say a male suspect was able to obtain credit card information from three individuals and use the information to buy gift cards and PS4s all over Cuyahoga County.
According to police, the man made purchases at Walgreens in Cleveland Heights, CVS in University Heights, GameStop in Cleveland Heights, and Rite Aid in North Royalton. Other transactions were declined at Walgreens in South Euclid and CVS in North Royalton. Police say all purchases and attempted purchases were in the $400 range.
The male is described as being Middle Eastern or Hispanic, approximately 5'6" to 5'8" tall, medium to heavy build, has dark, spiked, slicked hair, and speaks in a foreign accent. The male is known to wear a black or brown jacket and is possibly driving a maroon 2010-2011 Chevy Impala.
