The first time the Cavaliers faced the Atlanta Hawks this season, they blew 'em out of the "Q", winning by 26. Wednesday night, the Hawks came back to town and returned the favor, crushing the Cavs with 16 three-pointers, and pulling away for a 127-98 win.
Shelvin Mack led the way with a career performance, coming off the bench to go 6-for-6 from three-point land, and finishing with a game-high 24 overall.
The Hawks, who led by five at the half, pulled away with a torrid second half, blowing it open in the final quarter, shooting 64.5% overall.
LeBron James and Dion Waiters each threw down 21 points for the Cavaliers.
The Cavs return to work Friday night at the "Q" against the Brooklyn Nets.
