The tickets for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony sold out within minutes Thursday morning.
The tickets went on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday and by 10:45 a.m. the website had sold out.
The 2015 inductees include Ringo Starr, The "5" Royales, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Green Day, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Lou Reed, Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble and Bill Withers.
To be eligible for nomination, an individual artist or band must have released its first single or album at least 25 years prior to the year of nomination.
All inductees are ultimately represented in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, the nonprofit organization that tells the story of rock and roll's global impact via special exhibits, educational programs and its library and archives.
The ceremony will be held April 18, 2015 at Public Hall in Cleveland.
