Cleveland firefighters released from the hospital

Two Cleveland firefighters injured battling a house fire have been released from the hospital.

The Cleveland Fire Department said the two sustained minor injuries during a rescue at 16508 Southland Avenue on Wednesday night. One suffered an ankle injury, while the other received a laceration to his hand.

Fire spokesman Larry Gray said when fire crews arrived at the scene, they found a 67-year-old woman in the house. Crews were able to rescue her and revive her from respiratory arrest. She was then transported to

The cause remains under investigation, but firefighters suspect the fire started in the kitchen. According to investigators, items piled everywhere are making the investigation difficult.
