For the first time ever, Lake Humane Society and
are partnering up to co-host a huge adoption event called “Share the Love this Holiday Season.”
“Both of our organizations help thousands of animals each year find justice, love and companionship, but now more than ever, we need to work together to increase our efforts even further. There are still so many animals out there that need our help,” said Anna Marie Velazquez, Marketing and Events Coordinator of Rescue Village.
“By holding this adoption event, it is our hope to adopt out as many of our animals as possible before the holidays. In order to make this happen, we have partnered with our friends at Rescue Village and the great people at the
and Ganley Subaru. We encourage anyone considering adding a new four-legged family member to their home to join us on December 20th and make adoption their only option!” says Mandy Osborne, of the Lake Humane Society.
The “Share the Love this Holiday Season” event has been made possible through a grant provided by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). During this event, Lake Humane Society and Rescue Village will have a variety of animals available for adoption at reduced fees and hope to find loving homes for at least 50 animals in one day. In addition, those attending are encouraged to bring an item from the shelters' wish list and “stuff the Subaru.”
