DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - A cold pattern is setting up right through New Year's Eve. Not seeing much snow however.
It's a tricky one tonight as far as cloud cover is concerned. The areas that see breaks in the clouds will be colder than areas that hang on to clouds. The best risk of cloud cover will be east of Cleveland.
Some sunshine is forecast in the morning and then a general increase in clouds will happen during the afternoon. Temperatures will stay below 30 degrees. A blast of arctic air moves in Tuesday night sending temperatures in the teens.
New Year's Eve will be the coldest day of the week. The wind will pick up and that will mean wind chills in the single digits. A little lake snow will happen along the lakeshore and east of Cleveland. Bundle up!
