The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested fugitive Darren Allmon Monday morning.
Allmon was wanted by the U.S. Marshals, the Adult Parole Authority and the Cleveland Police Department for two separate aggravated robberies, felon in possession of a firearm charges, and two counts of escape.
In October of 2014, Allmon allegedly got into an argument with his girlfriend. He threatened to rape her, then punched her in the head and knocked her to the ground. Once she was on the ground, Allmon kicked her several times.
During the altercation, a pistol fell from Allmon's waistband. He retrieved the weapon, and then fled on foot.
On Christmas Eve, Cleveland Police say Allmon and another suspect, robbed a man at gunpoint of his cellphone and keys. They then stole the man's car and fled the scene in it.
