FAIRVIEW PARK, OH (WOIO) - A man was indicted Wednesday in the murder of his 67-year-old Fairview Park neighbor in August 2007.
Police say Timothy Sheline strangled Gwendolyn Bewley in the kitchen of her home on West 220th Street and then set the home on fire.
Sheline lived next door to Bewley and has already been convicted of stealing her credit cards.
Investigators recently took a new look at the case and re-interviewed witnesses leading to the murder indictment after all this time.
Just before noon Wednesday, Fairview Park Police Officers, with the assistance of the FBI-Cleveland Violent Crimes Task Force, the Westshore Enforcement Bureau and Lakewood Police Officers, arrested Sheline at his Lakewood home.
He was then transported to the Cuyahoga County Jail.
