Meyer expects Braxton Miller back at Ohio State in 2015

Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer held a press conference on Wednesday.

Meyer was asked if he expected quarterback Braxton Miller back next year in late of all the rumors of Miller actively looking around and if he has spoke to him, " Yes, I've had conversations and someone hit me with that today and I don't expect that, there's a lot of things that go on out there that's out of his control as well so we've had conversations and I expect him to be back at Ohio State."

There were rumors of Miller looking into Florida State University. With the quarterback position so deep for the Buckeyes, some believe Miller may not be able to start with Jones and Barrett coming back healthy.

Miller would injure his right shoulder in August and it would shut him down for the season. The Buckeyes were forced to turn to J.T Barrett and Barrett started off slow but came on strong to be regarded as a Heisman finalist. Barrett would suffer a season ending injury in the game against Michigan.

The Buckeyes had to turn to yet another inexperienced quarterback, former quarterback of the Glenville Tarblooders, Cardale Jones.

Jones would make his first career start in the Big Ten Championship game against Wisconsin. Jones and the Buckeyes would shut out the Badgers 59-0 and it would be the final pitch to push them into the College Football Playoffs.

The No. 4 Buckeyes will play the top ranked Crimson Tide of Alabama on Thursday in the Sugar Bowl, winner will advance to the National Championship game.
