A family is speaking out with a message for a suspected drug dealer after a man died from an overdose.
Michael Marszal died this week on Cleveland's southeast side. Investigators believe he either died from a heroin overdose, or an overdose of the powerful painkiller fentanyl, sometimes sold as heroin.
Cleveland narcotics investigators arrested Xavier Ferguson and charged him with involuntary manslaughter. They believe he supplied the deadly dose of drugs.
Police have seen so many deaths from these drugs in recent months, they are now following up on all of these overdose deaths.
Marszal's niece spoke to 19 Action News and sends this message for Ferguson:
"If the law don't get you, your conscience will. He's gonna realize, he's doing this to families. He's doing this to people."
We found Ferguson has been convicted three times in connection with dealing crack.
Cleveland narcotics investigators will go to a grand jury for more charges on Ferguson. They've now busted several people like this in recent months, and more cases are pending.
