Love's efforts fall short as Cavs lose to Mavericks

Kevin Love scored 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, but it was not enough as the Cavaliers lost to the Mavericks 109-90 on Sunday at Quicken Loans Arena.

Love did not have the services of Kyrie Irving for the final half of the game. The point guard logged only 25 minutes before checking out with back pain. He injured his back in the loss to Charlotte on Friday night and tried to play through it, but he could not finish the game.

Irving will miss Monday's game in Philadelphia.

Monta Ellis lead six Mavericks in double-digits with 20 points. As a team, Dallas shot 56 percent from the floor, compared to only 40 percent for Cleveland.
