A man indicted last week in the murder of his 67-year-old Fairview Park neighbor will make his first court appearance Monday, seven years after the crime.
Police say in August 2007 Timothy Sheline strangled Gwendolyn Bewley in the kitchen of her home on West 220th Street and then set the place on fire.
Sheline lived next door to Bewley and has already been convicted of stealing her credit cards. Investigators recently took a new look at the case and re-interviewed witnesses leading to the murder indictment after all this time.
Sheline is being held in the Cuyahoga County Jail.
