VALLEY VIEW, OH (WOIO) - Valley View Police say information obtained during and after the large fight at Cinemark Theater on Jan. 2 will be referred to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office Juvenile Division for review. Police are sending information for charges against five juveniles involved: four females and one male, ages 13-15.

Police say the investigation into the entire incident continues, but at this time, the initial findings remain valid. The incident began inside the movie theater and involved patrons that purchased tickets. The disorder spread throughout other patrons in the lobby, and then eventually outside, when everyone was ordered out of the building.

According to police, the vast majority of people at the theater were not involved in any criminal behavior. Many of the individuals were upset because they had purchased tickets and concessions for a movie that had to be cancelled.

Police say as many as 300 people were involved. A total of 40 police officers from six different law enforcement agencies had to be called in to restore order.

The individual motivations and intent of a small number of people involved in criminal activity will continue to be the focus of the investigation, according to the department.
