NORTHEAST OHIO (WOIO) - Bitter cold continues the rest of the week with dangerous wind chills. Lake effect snow showers will be around most of the night. An additional 1-4" is in the forecast where the snow bands set up. It's a northwest steering wind through the evening, so the snow bands will go pretty far inland. Wind chills will dip to as low as -20 at times.

Thursday will be dry during the day and still windy. Clouds will quickly increase again in advance of the next system. Wind chills will be in the range of -10 to -15 below.

A system moves in Thursday night. Snow and blowing snow develops in the evening. Right now, we are thinking a good 2-4" snow with poor visibility, due to the blowing snow.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Flurries, windy and frigid. 1-4" snow expected. LOW: 2
