NORTHEAST OHIO (WOIO) - A fast moving clipper system is moving through tonight. It is going to be very windy with gusts over 40 mph, along with 1-3" of snow with the system. Travel is going to be difficult because of the blowing snow through the night.

Another shot of arctic air builds in behind this system tomorrow. Winds will gust close to 40 mph and temperatures will crash through the teens and into the single digits by evening.

Lake effect snow is in the forecast east of Cleveland tomorrow and Friday night. Wind chills will once again be well below zero.

Saturday is expected to be dry with sunshine but it will be blustery and frigid.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Snow showers start after the evening commute and could leave us with 1-3" by morning. Very windy. Low: 14

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with scattered snow showers. Windy and frigid. 1" or less of snow. High: 14
