Suspect wanted after abducting teen girl


Fifth District Detective Bureau is investigating an abduction incident that happened Tuesday around 9 p.m. in the 12800 block of Paxton Road.

Preliminary investigation states a 14-year-old female victim was walking in the area when she was approached by a male from behind, who forced her into a vehicle. The suspect began driving with the victim, but the victim was able to jump out of the vehicle as it slowed in traffic. She then fled on foot. 

The victim did not sustain any injuries.

Police say the suspect is described as a black male in his 30s or 40s, standing 6'4" tall, weighing 250 pounds, with a dark complexion and a full beard. The suspect was wearing black work boots and a white T-shirt. 

The suspect's vehicle is described as an early 2000s, white, four-door Ford Taurus with tinted windows and a temporary tag. Police say the vehicle had a dent to the right rear, and only one working tail light.
