Former Dolphins fullback survives, swims 9 miles to shore

Former Miami Dolphins fullback, Rob Konrad was found on the shore after swimming nine miles to save his life.
Konrad was fishing alone on his 36-foot boat off the coast of South Florida, Konrad would fall off the boat that was operating on autopilot. According to ESPN, Konrad was in the water for 10 to 12 hours.
The former Dolphin would survive the boating accident by swimming nine miles to shore, he was found Thursday Morning at 4:40 a.m. Konrad would be treated for hypothermia and then was released.
Konrad played for the Dolphins from 1999-2004. He played college ball at Syracuse, where he was the last to wear the #44 jersey.
