Cleveland Police have spoken with a man who admits to breaking into at least 20 cars in the Ohio City area.
He admitted to the break ins after being arrested for aggravated robbery Friday night near W. 83rd and Detroit.
Per Sgt. Mitch Sheehan's post on Second District Community Relations Committee Facebook page, the man would not tell than any specifics and he can't be charged with the car break ins without specifics.
Sheehan says, "He will be off the streets for a bit on his fresh charges." The man is currently in jail waiting for official charges.
Sheehan also says, "I hope this helps the car break ins we have been experiencing in Ohio City."
Cleveland police will continue to monitor the area on a nightly basis.
