DOWNTOWN CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Elsa and Anna taking over the Q.
The Academy Award winning
tale is being brought to life on ice.
But, it's not all glitz and glamour the performers put in countless hours of hard work with up to three shows a day, traveling around the country.
"We travel around so much and it's nice to be in one place longer than a week," explains Jackson Stevens.
Jason Stevens skates in several of the Disney on Ice group numbers.
He says performing is fun but it's definitely hard work.
"It's hard to run on empty but it's something that we manage to do. We always like to keep it interesting for each other and it's the small things the audience doesn't really notice . It's the little things that keep each other chuckling, laughing, the energy high," says Stevens.
Stevens says the crowds in Cleveland are top notch.
"The audiences in Cleveland have just been spectacular. We got a couple opportunities to see the city as well. The city is beautiful," says
A different city every couple weeks to tour in, bringing the magic on the ice with performers who have dedicated their lives to the sport.
"It's really powerful to be a performer and come into the arena and have everybody singing along. It's the greatest appreciation," says Stevens.
