Other names also linked to the position include:

Oakland Raiders quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo,

Chicago Bears quarterbacks coach Matt Cavanaugh,

Dallas Cowboys passing game coordinator Scott Linehan,

Former Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey,

Former New England Patriots offensive coordinator Charlie Weis,

New York Jets assistant head coach/running backs coach Anthony Lynn.

Prior to joining the Browns for the 2014 season, Angelichio was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight ends coach in 2012 and 2013.
