ELYRIA, OH (WOIO) - A cat was taken to the Friendship APL Thursday after he was found frozen in a driveway.

According to workers when he came in, they thought he may have passed away on the drive over because he was stiff as a board.

Veterinarians at Fox Veterinary Hospital Inc. also said they were barely able to find a faint pulse and his temperature wouldn't even register on a thermometer.

Luckily he survived and Friday morning Olaf, named by hospital staff, is alert.

The immediate concern remains extensive frostbite.
