Pierre Woods joined Tony Zarrella on The Sports Extra to talk Cardale Jones

Pierre Woods joined Tony Zarrella on The Sports Extra on Thursday. Woods and Zarrella talked about the decision

quarterback Cardale Jones made to go back to school instead of turning pro.

Woods played at Glenville, the same school as Jones. Woods went on to play professional football for the New England Patriots. The former Tarblooder last played in the NFL in 2010 and would not play professional until he played with the

of the Arena Football League.

Zarrella asked Woods if he was surprised with Jones' decision to go back to school, "I wasn't surprised, I was happy that he's going back to school. Preaching education is definitely important for the kids at Ginn Academy." Woods replied.

As Zarrella and Woods talked about, Woods recently joined Twitter, here is his handle @PierreMWoods1
