EAST CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) - Monday dozens of East Cleveland citizens and activists crossed the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Forest Hills Boulevard street very slowly.
Residents are hoping to draw attention to that area. They say there is only a blinking red traffic light and it should be a full working signal.
Protestors stood in the street for more than an hour. Police were called to come direct traffic.
Mayor Gary Norton had the blinking light placed there, along with police officers who ticket drivers who break the 'complete stop' rule.
The four-way intersection has been termed by some as 'Cash Corner.'
