MLK protestors arrested, released on bond

The three people arrested Monday celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy have been released on bond.

Michael Fiala, 60, David Steinmuller, 29, and Edward Lessin, 74, were all arrested during a MLK march in the area of the Detroit and Superior Bridge.

Fiala and Steinmuller pled not guilty to aggravated disorderly conduct in court Wednesday. Lessin's charges are not clear at this time.

The trio was among dozens of Clevelanders, both young and old, who chose Martin Luther King Jr. Day to protest the shooting death of 12-year-old Tamir Rice by a Cleveland police officer, and the death of Tanisha Anderson while in police custody.

Organizers say they simply wanted their voices heard.
