This is not Redarowicz' first brush with the law. In 2013, Carl Monday reported Christopher Redarowicz was working at the time for Budget One Fence in Berea to erect a six foot fence around the home. Gina DeJesus along with two other women were kept in a Cleveland home for multiple years and beaten and raped by Ariel Castro.
While working at the DeJesus home, Redarowicz was wearing a court-ordered bracelet. He was charged with kidnapping and rape, but cut a deal with prosecutors and the rape charge was dropped. Redarowicz was placed on four years probation and agreed to find a job. That led him to Budget One Fence.
Monday paid a visit to Budget One Fence for comment on why they would send a man once charged with a sex crime to the home of a sex crime survivor. A day after that visit, Redarowicz' employment with the company ended.
