Man who helped install fence at DeJesus' home charged with molesting a woman

The man who helped install a fence around the family home of Gina DeJesus is charged with molesting a woman.

Police arrested 24-year-old Christopher Redarowicz Sunday. According to the police report, Redarowicz physically attacked a woman inside a home on East 71st. St.  She got away from him and called police.

This is not Redarowicz' first brush with the law. In 2013, Carl Monday reported Christopher Redarowicz was working at the time for Budget One Fence in Berea to erect a six foot fence around the home. Gina DeJesus along with two other women were kept in a Cleveland home for multiple years and beaten and raped by Ariel Castro.

While working at the DeJesus home, Redarowicz was wearing a court-ordered bracelet. He was charged with kidnapping and rape, but cut a deal with prosecutors and the rape charge was dropped. Redarowicz was placed on four years probation and agreed to find a job. That led him to Budget One Fence.

Monday paid a visit to Budget One Fence for comment on why they would send a man once charged with a sex crime to the home of a sex crime survivor. A day after that visit, Redarowicz' employment with the company ended.
