An off-duty Cleveland Police officer has been charged with having a weapon while intoxicated and public indecency after an incident on Jan. 17.
A police spokesperson says Paul Juliano has been on extended sick leave and will be put before an administrative review when he returns.
Juliano and a friend were leaving a bar on Rocky River Drive when they were pulled over by Cleveland Police. Juliano is accused of having a weapon while drunk, along with urinating in public.
Juliano's friend who was driving the car, Howard Kennedy, was arrested for OVI.
Other off-duty officers took Juliano home.
Juliano was not ticketed, but was summoned to court on Feb. 4.
