Results of 15th Annual Greater Cleveland Sports Awards

 The following is the results of the 15th Annual Greater Cleveland Sports Awards from Thursday night.

High School Athlete of the Year went to Mitch Guadagni, Football, Hudson High School. The other finalist were Esa Ahmad (Basketball) of Shaker Heights High School, and Brook Zoltai (Soccer/Softball) of Valley Forge High School.

Amateur Athlete of the Year went to Kelli Stack, USA Hockey, Brooklyn Heights. The other finalist were Tianna Bartoletta (USA Track and Field) of Elyria, and Dartanyon Crockett (USA Paralympic Judo) of Cleveland. 

Collegiate Athlete of the Year went to Kevin Burke, Football, University of Mount Union, Westlake. The other finalist were Nikki Chiricosta (Tennis) of Bowling Green State University, Avon Lake and Connor Cook (Football) Michigan State University, Hinckley.

Professional Athlete of the Year went to Corey Kluber of the Cleveland Indians. The other finalist were Joe Haden of the Cleveland Browns and Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Kluber won the AL Cy Young in 2014.

Tom Hamilton, Cleveland Indians Broadcaster won the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Nick Lenyo of Huron High School won the Courage Award presented by Cleveland Clinic Sports Health.
