Dozens of flights out of Hopkins cancelled

The blizzard battering the east coast has cancelled thousands of flights to and from that area, and there could be more grounded flights and delays on Tuesday.

Hopkins Airport was fairly quiet Monday evening, only a few passengers checking in for flights.

More than 30 flights have been cancelled in and out of Cleveland.

Scott Clark was one of a handful of passengers who actually had a flight to board. Clark says he knows he's lucky to be getting to Washington, D.C. on time.

"Feel fortunate to get out?" asked reporter George Smith.
"Yes. I do. I've had multiple flights cancelled so I'm pleased to be going," said Clark.

Flights were cancelled from the New York City area to Baltimore and Boston. Many planes for United and other airlines were grounded.

We didn't find any stranded passengers at Hopkins because most flights had been cancelled earlier in the day.
