NORTH OLMSTED, OH (WOIO) - We're just days away from Super Bowl Sunday and now is the time to get a super television for the big game.
You may think the Super Bowl is about football. But make no mistake about it, it's really about fans showing off their TV to friends for the big game day party.
Paul Morris held out during the holidays in hopes of getting a deal now.
"I want to see how good the prices really are," says Morris.
in North Olmsted say this is the best time to buy, because manufacturers are lowering prices to be competitive.
"I know this week we have some really great deals from Samsung, LG, Sony. They're all trying to get everybody's business," explains operations manager Patrick Higgins.
Experts say on average, you can pay anywhere from $1,000 to $4,000 for a TV.
The latest technology is a 4K, 65-inch, high resolution TV. Normally priced at $3,800, it's currently on sale for $2,300.
"It's future proof, which means it upscales the television, the signal that it does receive," says Higgins.
Or there's a Sony 60-inch for $800, saving you $200. There are plenty of options for every customer at different price points.
"They put the TV in the living room and make everybody jealous," says Higgins.
If you do buy a TV, give yourself at least three days to get it hooked up with your cable company.
