Funeral services Wednesday for Shaker Hts teacher

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) - Funeral services were held Wednesday morning for the teacher killed in a hit and run Saturday evening. 

James Caffrey, 51, was killed as he ran along South Park Boulevard in Shaker Heights. Police say the driver was fleeing from a traffic stop in University Heights. The driver took off on foot after the collision and remains on the loose. 

Caffrey was a 5th grade teacher at Woodbury Elementary in Shaker Heights and a well known runner in his community. A funeral was held Wednesday at 10 a.m at St. Dominic's located at 19000 Van Aken Blvd. in Shaker Heights. 

Police have released images of a vehicle similar to the 1998 Toyota Avalon XL that was involved in the hit and run. Police hope you can help with any information about the vehicle's route, the crash or the driver.
