The Cleveland Browns on Thursday announced 2015 season ticket prices and mailed renewal letters to season ticket members this week.
At FirstEnergy Stadium in 2015, the Browns will host at least five teams that reached the 2014 postseason. The club's preseason opponents will be announced later this offseason.
Season ticket memberships are available to fans for as low as $25 per game, with non-club level season ticket packages ranging from $25-$110 per home contest. Those packages ranged from $19-$85 in 2014, when the Browns had the lowest average ticket price in the NFL in that category.
This marks the first time since 2008 that some Browns ticket prices have increased. Cleveland, which held pricing flat for six consecutive seasons, ranked 31st in the league for average ticket price in each of the past two seasons.
Prices decreased or did not change for approximately 8,350 seats, including options at the 50-yard line in the upper level and near the new fan engagement decks installed in 2014. With the newest pricing model, approximately 80 percent of non-club seats, including options in the stadium's lower bowl, can be purchased for $80 or less per game, well below the league's 2014 average ticket price and projections for 2015.
“We are very sensitive to fan affordability as we recognize and greatly appreciate our fans' commitment to support the Browns and build the best home-field advantage,” said Browns President Alec Scheiner. “We continue to work towards our primary goals: building a winning football team and creating the best fan experience in the NFL. While we have made progress, clearly we know we have work to do.”
Browns fans can guarantee their seats at the lowest possible prices for all 10 home games in 2015 by becoming a season ticket member. Additionally, Browns season ticket members receive exclusive benefits, including personal access to an individual Membership Representative; the Season Ticket Member Benefit Card; discounts on single-game tickets and team merchandise; preferred opportunities to purchase tickets to away games and non-football events at the stadium, as well as early registration for Browns events like training camp, the annual draft party and more.
In 2014, Cleveland launched the Season Ticket Member Benefit Card for individual use throughout the year. Fans who were active with the card received immediate discounts on Browns team shop purchases and were entered for a chance to win premium experiences and prizes with each in-store or concessions transaction. Last season through the program, select season ticket members won the opportunity to share lunch and a film session with General Manager Ray Farmer, enjoy a meal with current Browns players, park like a Brown for a home game and receive a complimentary trip to an away game.
