TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, OH (WOIO) - The Tuscarawas and Coshocton County Sheriff's Offices and the Strasburg Police Department say that one man has been arrested and another man is wanted in connection with the Jan. 21 abduction and murder of Doyle and Lillian Chumney.
Early this morning, police distributed a photo of an unknown man and a van to the public, and a concerned citizen called the Sheriff's office with a tip. Officers followed up and located the man and a stolen item from the Chumney home. Officers arrested Jeffrey Craig Stewart, 21, on a warrant out of New Philadelphia. Stewart was interviewed and made incriminating statements, but those details aren't being released at this time. Stewart is charged with murder and is currently in the Tuscarawas County Jail.
Stewart's statement's also led to an arrest warrant on Robert R. Clark, 29, who is also wanted for murder. Clark is said to be driving the same van released in this morning's pictures and authorities believe he is in possession of several firearms.
Clark is considered armed and dangerous. Citizens who see him are asked to call the following law enforcement agencies:

According to investigators, Stewart and Clark are believed to be responsible for the murders of Doyle and Lillian Chumney, of Strasburg, who were reported missing from their Tuscarawas County home on Jan. 21 Their bodies were discovered in their burned vehicle, which was found abandoned on a secluded road in Bakersville, Ohio, in Coshocton County the next day.
