Cleveland Cavaliers forward Shawn Marion visited a Sixth Grade class from Benjamin Franklin Elementary School on Tuesday to work out their brains and their bodies.
Marion hosted the students at Cleveland Clinic Courts as part of the team's Read to Achieve program.
As part of this month's Read to Achieve activities, the students have been learning about other ways to engage in reading, such as by playing games. Catch Phrase, for example, requires reading the game unit's screen and giving clues about the word or phrase for teammates to guess. In between practicing their reading skills tomorrow, the students will also be working on their shooting and dribbling skills on the Cavs' hardwood.
