Kevin Love threw down a game-high 24 points in just 29 minutes, and LeBron James added 23 in 28 minutes, as the Cavaliers stormed past the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night, 105-94 at Quicken Loans Arena, their NBA-best 12th straight win.
Love, who had struggled offensively during the streak, got off to a torrid start, scoring 10 of the Cavs' first 12 points. The Cavaliers built up a double-digit lead in the first quarter, and led by 23 points at the half, shooting 60% through the first two quarters.
The Clippers lost their cool in the third quarter, called for multiple technical fouls, including Matt Barnes, who was ejected after his second technical foul.
The Cavaliers would lead by 32 before pulling their starters. All five of the Cavs' starters finished in double figures, including J.R. Smith, who finished with 16 points.
