Another fugitive is off the streets. The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force announced Monday that Torrez Davis turned himself in to police over the weekend.
Davis was wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Cleveland Police Department in connection with the shooting death of 19-year-old Darnell Phillips which took place in September 2014 in the 2500 block of East 37th St. Cleveland.
Davis and the victim were involved in a fight and it is alleged that during the fight Davis shot the victim in the chest.
Police say Davis, 19, turned himself in on Sunday, Feb. 08, 2015.
