TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

The case of 21-year-old Jeffrey Stewart has been bound over to the grand jury.

Stewart and Robert Clark are charged in the Jan. 21 abduction and murder of Doyle and Lillian Chumney of Strasburg. Their bodies were discovered in their burned vehicle, which was found abandoned on a secluded road in Bakersville, Ohio, in Coshocton County the next day.

Stewart remains behind bars in the Tuscarawas County Jail on a $2 million bond. Stewart named Clark as his accomplice after he was arrested January 31.

Clark, who was arrested a week later, quickly admitted to the murders.

Clark, Tabatha Hazel and Jeffrey Caley were arrested Thursday by deputies in Kingman, AZ after a high speed chase.

After the murders, police say Clark, Hazel and Caley went on a multiple state crime spree.

All three remain in Arizona awaiting extradition.
