AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

Jamall Vaughn pleaded guilty to a double murder in a Summit County courtroom.

The 15-year-old is charged in the April 2013 deaths of Jeffrey and Margaret Schobert in their New Franklin home.

Vaughn's trial was scheduled to start today; however, late last week he pleaded to two counts of aggravated murder, one count of aggravated burglary and one count of aggravated robbery.

Vaughn was with 19-year-old Shawn Eric Ford, Jr. when they brutally murdered the Schoberts, the parents of Ford's girlfriend,

Ford was convicted in October 2014. The jury in his trial issued two recommendations, life in prison with no chance of parole and death.

It is up to the judge to determine his fate.

No sentencing date for either has been set at this time.
