Police nab murder suspect during traffic stop

WILLOUGHBY HILLS, OH (WOIO) -

Willoughby Hills Police officers arrested a man wanted for aggravated murder.

Officers were on patrol and noticed a white Toyota parked in the rear parking lot of an apartment complex.

The Toyota pulled off of the property and officers pulled the car over. 

Officers smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from within the vehicle. One of the passengers was identified as 23-year-old Jimmie E. Coleman of Cleveland, wanted on an aggravated murder arrest warrant.

After giving multiple false names, Coleman was taken into custody and released to Cleveland Police officers.

It was later learned the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force was actively searching for Coleman.
