Lorain High School basketball climbing Ohio ranks

 The Boys Lorain High School Basketball team is off to their best start in school history, led by Head Coach John Rositano.

The Titans are winners of 19 straight games, they're currently ranked #4 in the latest Associated Press Division I state poll. The OHSAA Boys Basketball Tournament draw took place on Sunday, Lorain has the No. 1 Seed in the Midview District. St. Edward drew second overall seed, and St. Ignatius drew third overall. 

Lorain's two biggest wins this season was a 66-64 win against Newark in December and a 63-62 victory over Bedford on Jan. 23.

The Titans received a bye in the first round bye of sectionals, they will play the winner of the March 4 game between North Ridgeville and North Royalton on March 7. 

The Titans have two players that have signed scholarships with Division I schools. Rashod Berry has committed to the Ohio State University on a full football scholarship. Devon Andrews has verbally committed to Kent State University on a full basketball scholarship.
